“Together Achieve Prosperity” is the motto of Manulife Indonesia’s Employee Cooperatives, which aims to optimize services for its members (employees and agents of Manulife Indonesia. This motto became the inspiration for cooperatives board to always provide the best service through product offerings and services.

Manulife Indonesia’s Employee Cooperatives was established on March 13, 1997 to meet all requirements:

2. License of Trading No. 04.144/1.824.51, Small Enterprise on May 6 th 2005
3. Taxpayer Registration Number (NPWP) No. 1.831.966.5-021
4. Cooperative Company Registration No.: 09.05.2.51.00683 on May 12 th 2005
5. Certificate of Domicile No.: 298/1.824/09 tgl. 27 Januari 2009 Kecamatan Setiabudi
6. Certificate of Labor Supervision No. : 2820/AP/JP/2008 on January 11 th 2008

Until December 31, 2008, the total assets managed by Employee Cooperatives of Manulife Indonesia has reached Rp 3.95 billion served more than 1,380 permanent members and 5,000 temporary members from all over Indonesia. The Employee Cooperatives of Manulife Indonesia continues to implement innovative programs and diversified business that will lead to the benefits for all members.

 

 

 

EMPLOYEE COOPERATIVES of Manulife Indonesia currently has several business lines, they are:

 

1. APPLE MART
   APPLE MART mini market was established on September 11, 2002. APPLE MART offers a variety of goods of daily necessities and promotional items of Manulife Indonesia. Apple Mart also distribute the promotional items to marketing divisions throughout Indonesia. Located in Sampoerna Strategic Square Building South Tower P1 floor, APPLE MART is derived from APPLE (A=Asset Always Growing, P=Participating from active member, P=Products more variety, L=Low price, E=Easy way out/Easy pay).
   
2. CREDIT AND LOANS
   Provides low interest money lending service and motorcycle loan and cellular phone loan to members.
   
3. POST GRADUATE AND UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
   Cooperates with STIE TRIANANDRA, the Cooperatives provides educational program major in Economics and Insurance (bachelor) and advanced economics (post graduate) for members.
   
4. KPR PROGRAM
   Provide housing loan for employees through a partnership with Bank Tabungan Negara. This program is designed as part of company’s commitment to meet employee’s necessity in terms of housing.
   
5. OPTIONAL SAVING, HAJJ SAVING, AND QURBAN SAVING
   Optional saving
   An easy way for members by saving through payroll deduction and benefit from the balance of business in accordance with the amount of saving.
   Hajj saving
   A simple way to respond the invitation from Allah SWT to visit His Sacred House. This program is being organized in cooperation with Bank Syariah Mandiri. The cooperatives members may plan their own time to conduct their pilgrimage.
   Qurban saving
   The qurban (the animal sacrificed according to Islamic tradition) now becomes much easier through payroll deduction. The donors may choose the location to implement the qurban based on the list from Majelis Taklim Manulife Indonesia. Until 2007, the number of depositors of qurban savings is 107 people.
   
6. OUTSOURCING SERVICE
   Offers ready to hire employees such as security, driver, receptionist, messenger, and cleaning service.
   
7. PROMOTIONAL ITEM
   The cooperative provides various good quality products and the solution to meet your company’s promotional needs. Nowadays, the employee cooperative of Manulife Indonesia provides more than 60 types of product selection.
   
8. CATERING SERVICE
   Provides lunch box / snack box for employees and training participants cooperated with several well known catering companies.
   
9. CITY COURIER
   Provide “same day delivery” for Jakarta area delivered by experienced workers.
